  1. First, thanks for the “Follow”, Jane. Next, I’m trying to figure out how this works, as I “liked” and began my comment here–then realized I was supposed to click to get to the actual post… Oh well, the issues are complicated–everybody has a full plate of issues; I’ve had to take a giant step back, and just look after myself–trying to look after others was overwhelming–and then there’s the boundary issues too. So currently, I’m trying to be caring/encouraging in the comment boxes, but that has to be it. I live alone with no actual support system, so–we all do what we can, hopefully, but we can’t do what we can’t do. I’m surrounded by people who want to use up everything I have to give–compassion and materially–and seem clueless about “mutual” support/friendship. Best regards, Valida (If I sound frazzled, I am–and exhausted–it’s 4am and I need to head to bed.)

    1. Don’t worry where you’ve put the comment. There are no hard and fast rules. I’m intending covering the people who live alone with no support system other than the internet. I’ve been there myself. Take care of you. x

      1. I’ve also had two, let’s just say ‘eventful’ marriages that left their scars. I’m very lucky that I managed to break the chain and to now have a kind, understanding and compassionate man in my life 🙂

      2. Oh, I’m very happy for you–it takes courage to try love again. With one early, abusive, marriage–I never regained my trust. Very happy to be alone and write plenty of poetry. Best wishes for a long happy relationship!
