Westward bound, homeward
into vibrant palette of the setting sun.
Raindrop rivulets smear tinted glass
as rainbow arches in the east.
The sky colours my senses;
lifts me higher.
As dark descends, stars shoot
as the cosmos gifts earthkind
with spectacular Perseid fireworks.
Tonight, we are truly blessed.

I watched a few of these last night. But our fireworks are in full force tonight. Hope skies are clear.

I like the way you wrote this. Very beautiful. I look towards the Sky daily and my family smile as I show them lots of photos of clouds, sunsets and the skies. 🙂
