From ago 🙂 Reminded of this by the pic on Peace, Love and Patchouli’s poem, Unbroken Movement 🙂
A little video I made from a song from long ago (1984), when I was in a band called Far East Exchange.

A little video I made from a song from long ago (1984), when I was in a band called Far East Exchange.
Shake off the burden of your toil
Walk with me in pine-sweet forests
Follow me down to the river
Bathe with me under the moonlight
Embrace the passionate soul within
Glide with me on silken skin
Let the waters of peace flow through you
Give yourself to me; to the universe
You’ve forsaken me.
Again! What am I to do?
I’ll write a haiku!
If you are able to find my inspiration, I will reward you with a personalised haiku 🙂
Inkwell dried up
Tear ducts welled up
Cried out
Tears ran
Inspiration ran dry
Pen ran out
Not my day
Inspired by Graeme Sandford’s ‘Writer’s Block Haiku‘, which in turn was inspired by Ginz’ ‘Writer’s Block Haiku‘
Poetry; old art, open heart
Love is spared, thoughts shared
through dots and dashes
Parched through ages of dry spells
Minds are blocked, clocks are watched
Waiting for the flow of words
through quills of emptiness
Nothing less than nothing spills onto open pages
Old age is creeping in
Inspiration sleeping within
