I’d love to make love
But I don’t have ingredients
Nor a like for like
What’s Cooking (Haiku)

I’d love to make love
But I don’t have ingredients
Nor a like for like
Hearts detached from bonds
we strove so hard to keep tied.
Love let loose to lust.
I’m so excited!
This Sunday, I will duet
with my little boy
at my little girl’s wedding.
I’ve never done that before!
My son covering Mamma Mia.
Do you like riddles?
I’ve been playing this morning. This is far from complete, and I’ll be extending it over time.
Have fun! 🙂
Oh cat!
You sit
on
a mat made of sheepskin.
It
takes some licking
!

Here we have a poem in the Manxu form, which is an ode to cats with a 2, 2, 1, 6, 1, 4, ! syllable count (ending with “!”).
2 – ears
2 – eyes
1 – nose
6 – whiskers
1 – mouth
4 – legs
! – no tail
Oh cat!
You spit
at
those who dare to mock you
for
having no tail
!
Do you think it’ll catch on?

Dream the light.
Truth there lies within –
an answer,
a calling,
to fulfil all your desires,
if you so believe.
