Hello, Saturday!
Rest and recuperation
from workaday week.

My eyes need rest from
monitoring monitor;
contact lens respite.

Serious ‘us’ time;
freedom from weekday neglect
and the, “I’m too tired”s.

Hello, Saturday!
Please do not be gone too soon.
You are true solace.
