Mamma Mia

I’m so excited!
This Sunday, I will duet
with my little boy
at my little girl’s wedding.
I’ve never done that before!

My son covering Mamma Mia.

I capture the moon;
bright hope in a jar of dreams.
Each beam holds one wish;
a universal essence
released on a warm night breeze.

Still one of my favourite songs to write, record and perform 🙂

Four smiling buskers
serenading as we eat.
Music to dine for.
Perfect coordination
for a Sunday afternoon.

I have a wonderful volunteering job coordinating happy, smiley buskers for a local Arts venue. I am blessed.

Based on a true story:

Was it just a dream?
Did I hear the poor man scream
as boiling water
poured from coffee pot to lap?
Pray for man with scalded nads.

my life is still trying to
get up this great big

Multicoloured nectar thief
Sips from bluebell cup
When her fill is taken, up!
Flits skyward towards the sun
